Pastor Wilna Pierre, a Chaplain on our team in Haiti, has written a series of short devotions to encourage those who support our ministry. We are blessed to be led by her! Take a few minutes to read today’s devotion about adoration. Devotions were translated by Denise Dent.

 Tèm: Adorasyon

Sijè: Veso de onè yo

Vèsè: 2 Timote 2: 20, 21- “20 Nan yon gwo kay, gen tout kalite vèso: genyen ki fèt lò osinon an lajan, genyen ki fèt an bwa osinon an tè. Gen ladan yo ki sèvi pou okazyon espesyal. Gen lòt se pou sèvis òdinè. 21 Si yon moun kenbe kò l pou l pa fè sa ki mal, y’a fè l yon travay espesyal. Paske lè sa a l’ap mete tèt li apa nèt pou Mèt li, la itil Mèt la, l’ap pare pou l fè nenpòt bagay ki byen.”

Theme: Adoration

Subject: Vessels of Honor

Verse: 2 Timothy 2:20, 21- “20 Now in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver but also of wood and clay, some for honorable use, some for dishonorable. 21 Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ready for every good work.”

All vessels, both precious and ordinary, are always in God’s hands.

-Eske mwen satisfè ak kote m ye a ak Bondye?

-Eske gen yon bagay kap anpeche w sèvi li byen nan travay ou?

-Eske w dakò pou Bondye mete flach sou lavi w?

-Eske w sonje lè w te aksepte Jezi kòm sovè w?

Sanktifikasyon se yon pwosesis kote Bondye fè nou plis sanble ak li. Sou pwen sa Bondye montre nou jan li renmen nou anpil paske nou tap fè peche toujou lè Kris la mouri pou nou (Romen 5:8).

N.B.: Menm lè wap bay yon moun se yon ak de adorasyon wap fè pou Bondye. Fèl byen.

We can all be useful to God so that we can serve Him as he wants us to. All vessels, both precious and ordinary, are always in God’s hands. We are all in the process of our journey with God. God wants us to become a vessel of honor. Ask yourself these questions:

– Am I satisfied with where I am with God?

– Is there anything that prevents me from serving him well in my life?

– Am I ok with God putting a spotlight on my life?

– Do I remember when I accepted Jesus as my Savior?

Sanctification is a process where God makes us more like Him. At this point God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5: 8). Note that even giving to someone is an act of worship to God. Do it well.
