The second course of leadership training, Lead Like Jesus, in Haiti was completed in November of 2022. This class consisted of five of our managers, two nurses, three spiritual moms, and two of our chaplains and was spearheaded by U.S. Lead of Leadership, Mark Kauk. Each week, students gathered to learn, discuss and put their knowledge into action.

Mark Kauk said, “It is great to see the heart of these leaders as they share what is important to them. We are blessed to have such leaders committed to following Christ in their work.”

“It is great to see the heart of these leaders

as they share what is important to them.”

At the end of this 18-week course, each person shared their mission, vision, and value statements.  Gathering together with other Many Hands staff and family members, it was time for a celebration. 29 people were in attendance for a time of sharing, fellowship, and food. Beatrice and Evenie made a delicious meal for all to enjoy!

Christi Gabhart attended and remarked, “God was certainly glorified that afternoon with no one talking personal credit for it’s success. Contributing all success to God’s hand in it all.”

We have included below three samplings of the mission, vision, and values developed in this training. Please take a few minutes to read them!
