MH4H is organizing their first Color Blast 5K to take place on Saturday, September 27, 2014 in Pella, Iowa. The race will help celebrate the grand opening of The Mango Tree, which is the frozen yogurt shop MH4H opened on April 22, 2014. All proceeds from the race will go towards the purchase of a new truck for the MH4H ministry in Haiti, as one of their trucks was totaled when it got caught up in a river this past July.
The un-timed race will start at 10 AM on Saturday, September 27 in Pella and take runners and walkers through five different color stations where they will be covered in color powder from top to bottom! From the start at Pella Rec Center to the finish at The Mango Tree, all participants are bound to have a blast! Plus, everyone who races will get 8 free ounces of yogurt when they finish.
All participants who register by September 13 for $30 are guaranteed to get a MH4H Color Blast 5K t-shirt. After September 13, registration increases to $40, and a t-shirt is not guaranteed. Race day registration is $50. For more information or to register, please click here.
