Although we’d rather post positive things that happen in the ministry, we also have to be true to the realities of working in Haiti. Last night, Zeke was traveling back from Port-au-Prince in heavy rain. While crossing a normally tame river, the water was raging, took the truck, and started flipping it. Zeke was able to climb out to safety, and some nearby men caught the truck with ropes. Here is what it looked like this morning. We’re praising God that Zeke’s safe and that no one was injured. We can replace vehicles; we can’t replace Zeke. Please pray for Zeke as this obviously shook him up. Also, pray for decision making in how we proceed to fix/replace this much needed truck.
