Impact Trips are intentional, immersive experiences where you’ll serve alongside local partners in Haiti or Abaco. Each year, we prepare up to 1,000 people for this experience, which is a core opportunity for individuals and teams to experience Love in Action firsthand and learn from our global partners.
During your trip, you’ll:
- Discover your unique gifts and how to live a life of purpose.
- Help build stability in our partner communities through projects and outreach.
- Experience a transformed heart for God’s world and His people.
- Learn that the mission field isn’t just “over there” but in your own family, church, and community.

The journey of living a life of impact is not meant to be traveled alone. People for Impact (PFI) is a growing community of past Impact Trip participants, volunteers, and partners who meet monthly via Zoom for spiritual encouragement and practical teaching on how to live a life of purpose right where they are.

What is Live Impact?
Live Impact is the third and most personal pillar of the Many Hands mission. It focuses on equipping individuals and teams to discover their God-given gifts, step into their life’s purpose, and put faith into action through immersive Impact Trips and ongoing community engagement.
Is Impact only about serving overseas?
No. While Impact Trips take place in partner communities like Haiti and Abaco, the ultimate goal of Impact is transformation that continues at home. Participants return with a deeper understanding that the mission field exists in their families, churches, workplaces, and communities, and continue the mission even after they return home.
How do you help people discover their purpose through Impact?
One analogy we like to use to describe transformation uses a rowboat and oars. When people step into a community during an Impact Trip, it’s like stepping into a rowboat. Together with their team, they begin to row with a shared purpose. During that process, they can discover their unique “oars”—gifts that God has given them to use to serve others. After returning from their Impact Trip, people have a newfound passion to serve and make an impact wherever they are and can keep rowing together.
Is Live Impact only for people who can travel abroad?
No. Live Impact is about how you live every day—at home, at work, in your church, and in your community. While Impact Trips are one expression of Live Impact, many people engage by serving locally, giving generously, mentoring others, or leading with purpose where they already are.
How can I stay engaged with Impact long-term?
Long-term engagement happens through joining People for Impact (P4I) Monthly Connection Calls, attending Impact Events, using your unique gifts to serve with passion, and living a life of impact to help transform lives and inspire growth.
