Many Hands for Haiti (MH4H) sadly announces the resignation of Heidi Schulte from her role as Development Coordinator in Haiti. Her time with us in Haiti blessed many in the communities throughout the Pignon area.
Heidi has been one of the leaders in running our Thrive for 5 program, loving families, teaching, leading and sharing Jesus. She helped manage 80 children and families in Thrive for 5, knowing each family in the program by name.
Executive Leader Tim Brand said about Heidi, “We have seen Heidi grow and develop during her time with us in Haiti, sharing the love of Christ through her actions every day. Her work in Thrive for 5 has helped create lasting impact in the lives of families through our Thrive for 5 program.
We thank Heidi for her time in Haiti and for helping MH4H manage the Thrive for 5 program. It has been a blessing to see God use her to grow His kingdom, bringing His light to many people in Sylvain.”
MH4H does not anticipate a disruption in programs offered in Haiti with this announcement, as this transition is already in place. In October 2016, Heidi made an emergency trip home due to the failing health of her mother and has not been able to return in a long-term capacity. In December 2016, the Thrive for 5 program officially transitioned leadership to Liz Clarke, who will continue to lead the program moving forward.
For anyone contributing monthly, ongoing financial support for Heidi, MH4H will be sending you a letter to discuss your future giving plans. Please call 641-629-6633 or email [email protected] for more information.
